This restaurant is a must stop. It has it all! View, friendly owner and staff. Plus delicious food, wine, coffee and please try the coffee flan.

We had the pleasure of visited Hacienda Ponds yesterday, Friday, around noontime, I have to say that the owner greeted us in a very warm and friendly way. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful, surrounded by great views. The food is spectacular. We had the longaniza as an appetizer, very delicious and also a generous portion. As an entree we both had the "estofado de cordero". I never had lamb so tender and delicious. We enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon. Also, we bought some fresh ground coffee. We had the coffee this morning and it was very good. Definitely we will go back!

Very good price, very nice place, food has good flavor. I dont recommend the fried pork chops, each piece has 80% of fat (Pork Lard) Cocktail was well served .

The food is amazing. And owner is so friendly. Going back again. A must see. Here again 2024 food is amazing, love the view,service and staff are friendly and wonderful

The food was delicious! The restaurant offers a variety of Spanish/Puerto Rican dishes in a relaxing environment surrounded by mountains. Worth the trip to this hidden gem. Recommend the cheese balls and longaniza as starters. For the main dish, we ordered a lamb stew with mamposteao rice, chicken filled with yuca and wrapped in bacon with bifongo, and solomillo filled with chorizo and cheese with pigeon peas mamposteao. The coffee was from their Hacienda and was really good!

My daughter and I ate here today on our way back from Charco de Ataúd. I ordered the pechuga rellena de yuca con tocineta. My daughter ordered the asopao de pollo con mofongo. Both were so good. The jugo de parcha was so good too. We both enjoyed it. The place was cute with roosters and chickens running around. We're from Chicago so my daughter was fascinated with the hanging bananas on the banana trees near by. If we find ourselves driving through Lares again, I'd definitely come back.

Juan José is a very pleasant and an amazing host. He’s very knowledgeable about the production of coffee from bean growth, harvesting, processing, roasting and brewing. The Hacienda is a peaceful gem in the mountains of Lares. My husband and I enjoyed the entire experience from the tour we did to the delicious food we bought for lunch, and the attention to details from not only Juan Jose but his staff also. Highly recommend a trip to this amazing place filled with culture, knowledge, great and varied food, and a delicious coffee.
